Friday, November 19 | DAY 1

Your arrival and welcome reception, followed by a delicious dinner, introductory session, and campfire.

Saturday, November 20 | DAY 2

A full day of inspiration and connection - workshops with incredible experts on reflexology and self-compassion, movement class, and a guided walk through the surrounding forest with an Indigenous interpreter. Then a wine tasting session with Evolve Cellars, followed by dinner and movie night. 

Sunday, November 21 | DAY 3

Our last day starts with movement class, followed by sessions on pelvic health with the Vagina Coach, and a powerful session called "Shifting from self-less to more of me."

It really was such a welcoming atmosphere. We were all there at "mom camp" but really, what it was for me was a women's retreat. Women at different stages of our lives. Some of us going through some hard times, some of us early in the motherhood stage. But at the end of the day, it was the power of the village and community and being around people that maybe you can touch in some way and share one of your experiences. That was incredible. I think we don't have enough of that, those moments of building women, supporting women in a community that is not just wearing those labels as "Mom" or whatever your work is. It was just a place to be yourself and contribute to that village. It was great."

Your cabin

Curious how the sleeping arrangements will work?

Because we want to allow for as much space as possible and ensure everyone feels comfortable, we have worked with the venue to increase the number of cabins. 

Each cabin will have 6-10 people, depending on who you are travelling with. If you are coming solo, you can absolutely have a room to yourself. 

Here you will see a layout of one of the cabins. Each "room" has two bunk beds and can accommodate 4 people, but no more that 2 people will be in each room. 

The cabins are heated, have full washrooms, and comfy bedding is provided. 



Suzanne is a mom, energy worker, artist, educator and mobile Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist with the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC). She's the #footguru behind Foot Guru Reflexology. Her passion is sharing the ancient healing benefits of reflexology in a modern and accessible way, guiding women & families all over the world to health and healing, one reflex at a time. 

Suzanne will share what reflexology is, how it works and its benefits, and will lead participants through a guided self-care foot reflexology routine focusing on stress release & calming the nervous system.


Kim is a self-professed pelvic health evangelist and known as The Vagina Coach. She is a certified fitness professional who became passionate about spreading information on pelvic health when she was pregnant with her first child.

Kim is a published author, a passionate speaker and women’s health educator as well as a mom to two boys.

Kegels and Cocktails (or Sunday morning Muffs & Mimosas!)

Kegels are often prescribed but rarely taught and that means most women are doing them incorrectly, if they are doing them at all. Kegels work when done correctly, consistently and coordinated with movement. Sitting at every red light and squeezing your vagina a few times just isn't going to cut let's change that. Let's also change the narrative around incontinence so that women know that the messages that tell us that light bladder leakage is 'just part of being a woman' are false! You do not need to accept pads as your destiny just because you are 'getting older' or because you have had children. Leak-free living IS possible when you are armed with the right information and clarity on the elusive kegel. 


With a degree in Kinesiology and over 20 years of health coaching experience, Gillian’s personalized lifestyle strategies have helped hundreds of clients redefine what fitness means to them, and get lasting results they never dreamed possible – free from diets, programs, systems, pills and products. From hating her body at the age of 5, it took more than 20 years, an eating disorder, an Ironman, and becoming a mom to finally uncover the kinder, more compassionate approach to health and fitness that she teaches today.

Gillian lives on Vancouver Island with her husband Mike and two children Connor and Chase. She teaches running clinics, fitness and yoga locally in her hometown of Nanaimo, BC and coaches clients from all over North America through her business Super You.

Meredith Dawson, Well-Being Educational Consultant & Thriving Life Warrior, will share her session, “Shifting From Self-Less to More of Me." Bringing together the modalities of numerology, EFT Tapping and reflective meditation, this transformational workshop will create a stronger sense of clarity, confidence & joy, on which to build your one of a kind thriving life.


Jennifer Carlyle is a fitness and mindfulness instructor who believes in a holistic approach to a mother's wellbeing.

Jenn will be leading two fitness classes over the weekend, based in her POP philosophy. POP stands for "Pockets of Peace," which is the idea of finding quick moments of peace in a mom's day to enhance mental and physical wellbeing.

POP FLOW uses meditation and movement to help you release stored emotions, feel strong in your body and get clear on how you want to show up for the day. It uses pilates and yoga inspired movement. 

Her POP PARTY class will fuel your day with joy! It focuses on core, cardio and booty with a playlist and moves that make you feel like you're going out for a night of fun with your besties.  


Our wine partnership

We have partnered with Evolve Cellars for Mom Camp: The Camp.  Campers will enjoy tasting the different wines that Evolve offers throughout the weekend, including at a special wine tasting and education session about the wines of BC.

Evolve Cellars is part of the TIME Family of Wines and is based in Penticton, British Columbia. Their intention is to craft friendly and approachable wines, providing a pure expression of the grapes grown by their south Okanagan grower partners. 


Connecting to the lands

The camp takes place on the traditional territory of the Skw̲xw̲ú7mesh people. As part of the weekend, one of our activities will be an interpretive walk through the surrounding forest, led by an Indigenous interpreter. We will gain a greater understanding of the lands on which we are gathering, and of the people that have lived on the lands since time immemorial. The walk will highlight a sense of place in connection with the local plants and fauna that have always been used for food and medicines, reflective of the traditions of the Coast Salish people.

The Location

Mom Camp: The Camp takes place at a retreat and educational centre located on 165 hectares of ecological reserve in Paradise Valley, near Squamish, British Columbia. 

Named by The New York Times as one of the top 52 Places to Go, the area offers endless year-round recreation from hiking, biking, fishing and wilderness camping to cabin getaways. 

Squamish is nestled between Vancouver and Whistler along the Sea to Sky corridor, one of North America’s most scenic coastal routes. Its spectacular 360-degree views range from snow-capped mountains to glacial lakes to old-growth forests to the turquoise waters of the Howe Sound fjord that look almost too good to be true.

An empowering keepsake

On the Saturday we will have a photo booth where you will have the opportunity to have Michele Mateus shoot a special portrait that you will take home as a memory of the weekend.

Michele is a Bright Lipstick wearing, popcorn loving chronic optimist who is often told she has contagious energy. Michele uses her camera as a tool to support women to feel alive and energized through empowering photo experiences.

Women hire her to awaken that inner badass goddess that’s inside of them, and remind them that they are a big f’ing deal! She also loves F words, like: feminist, fabulous, flow, fun, free spirited, forgiveness, flawless (cause you are!) and well .... F*ck!

Frequently Asked Questions

Registration includes accommodation, all meals and activities. Transportation is not included with registration. Travel directions and free parking will be provided for those driving.

We are planning Camp following all guidelines from the BC Provincial Health Officer, and we are working with the Cheakamus Centre to determine the most appropriate arrangements for accommodations and common spaces.

The recent announcement from the BC Provincial Health Officer regarding vaccine requirements for discretionary activities includes many of the elements at Mom Camp: The Camp. As a result, Camp attendees will need to be fully vaccinated as part of our COVID-19 safe event plan. 

Nothing at Mom Camp: The Camp is mandatory, this is your time to do with what you choose. (The price includes all workshops and can't be pro-rated if you choose not to participate.)

A complete packing list and all details will be sent out to all campers closer to the Camp. You will need to bring all clothes, jackets, boots and hats for the weather, toiletries, and a flashlight. You can also bring a yoga mat if you choose. 

The standard cabins can accommodate up to 18 people (9 on each side), with a minimum of 10 campers per cabin. Every effort will be made to ensure that your bunkmate requests are accommodated. 

Absolutely. The Executive Chef and kitchen team will be notified of your needs well in advance of Camp, and alternate meals will be made available for you. The Camp has a strict "no food from home" policy as they cannot have food stored in the cabins, but any medically necessary food can be accommodated with Cheakamus Centre. 

There is cell service at Camp, but the wifi is very limited. While there will be many Instagrammable moments, the Cheakamus Centre encourages a "Disconnect to connect" policy, to take advantage of the natural surroundings, to unplug and to reboot with friends, associates and new acquaintances.

If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centres and activities. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as accommodating as possible in the case that your plans change. But to protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.

  • 30 days or more prior to the start date of the retreat: a full refund less $150 Cdn administration fee will be given.
  • 0-29 days prior to the start date of the retreat: no refunds will be given.

If Camp needs to be cancelled or postponed because of changes to the COVID-19 re-opening plan, you will be offered the option of either a refund or deferral to a future Camp. 

Nope. This Camp is definitely not a sales exercise. The presenters are mostly working professionals and may indeed have books, courses or programs available, but other than mentioning they exist, there will be no sales activity at The Camp. This weekend is about YOU, your personal development, your friendships and your downtime.
